ELLE FANNING went paintballing with ANGELINA JOLIE. She says, “Oh, she’s aggressive . . . [she’s] really good. I was good at hiding.  I would just hide.”

DON JOHNSON says some ideas are being kicked around for a TV reboot of “Miami Vice”, and he’d potentially be interested in coming back.

Miranda Lambert hit up Instagram with nice words on all of the Entertainer of the Year nominees for the CMA’s, but her pick is Carrie Underwood. Here’s what she said: On Keith Urban:  “A friend and a hero of mine.  He took me on tour in 2005.  The first big tour I ever got to be part of.  He believed in me when I was a baby artist and I will be forever grateful.” On Garth Brooks:  “‘In Pieces’ [was] my first cassette tape I bought with my own money from doing chores.  My first concert, [at] Texas stadium in 1993.  The beginning of a twinkle in my eye.  It was life changing.” On Eric Church:  “One of the best songwriters of all time, in my opinion.  He turns a phrase like no other.  I’ve had the pleasure of writing with him and he is someone that will push [me to] say something in a different way.” On Chris Stapleton:  “The kind of voice and songwriting that makes you want to quit – and work harder.  A sound that can’t be beat.  Period.” After saying sincere stuff about the guys, she said Carrie should win.  There’s her kick-ass skill at organizing and headlining an all-female tour . . . of which Miranda says, “Ain’t for the faint of heart. [Carrie] put out her first single in 2005 and from then on country music was changed for good.  That iconic voice has been classing up our stages, charts and televisions for a decade and a half.  The Voice.  The legs.  The songs.  The brand.  The mom.  The wife.  The Okie.  The Jesus lover.  The blonde bombshell that is Carrie.  She blows me away every time I hear her sing.  She never wavers in who she is or what she stands for. She’s stayed true and pushed herself to be better.  If you’ve never heard her sing ‘How Great Thou Art’ do yourself a favor and listen.  So for the sake of sequins, Spanx, and spray tans, take it home!  You ‘Carrie’ the torch.  Entertainer of the Year.”

LUKE COMBS has shared the full track listing for his album, “What You See Is What You Get”, which drops November 8th. There are 17 songs. There are a couple guest appearances.  His hero Eric Church is on “Does To Me” . . . and Brooks & Dunn join him on the track, “1, 2 Many”.

MORGAN WALLEN is “excited to announce” the details of his “Whiskey Glasses Roadshow” tour. It’ll get going after the holidays with most of the dates in January, March, and April.  He’s bringing JON LANGSTON and ASHLAND CRAFT along as openers. Phila April 9

MATT STELL says he got serious about country music while playing college basketball. That’s because players have to stay on campus for the entire winter break, so he made use of the free time. Quote, “I sat in front of my computer learning old country songs.  And I started writing songs pretty quickly after I could mash four chords together.  And it did something special for me.”

New Bachelor Peter Weber is on the mend after undergoing emergency surgery in Costa Rica, PEOPLE confirms. During a game of golf on Monday, he split his head open after he fell and hit his head on multiple cocktail glasses. “He went to step on the cart but fell and and split his face open on two cocktail glasses he was carrying”. As a result of the injury, Weber, 27, traveled two hours to a hospital for an operation in which he received 22 stitches in his face. The incident occurred one day before the women competing on his season were supposed to arrive in Costa Rica, according to Radar.

Something SCANDALOUS happened during the Green Bay Packers / Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday: ELLEN DEGENERES was shown on TV sitting in a private suite with GEORGE W. BUSH. And they were smiling maybe even LAUGHING! Some people on social media were up in arms about it, because she’s a gay Hollywood liberal, and he’s a conservative Republican.  So of course they’re supposed to be enemies.  Ellen addressed the “scandal” on her show yesterday, and made it clear she isn’t apologizing for her friendships. “A lot of people were mad . . . [but] here’s the thing.  I’m friends with George Bush.  In fact, I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the same beliefs that I have. We’re all different, and I think that we’ve forgotten that that’s okay that we’re all different.  For instance, I wish people wouldn’t wear fur.  I don’t like it, but I’m friends with people who wear fur . . . But just because I don’t agree with someone on everything doesn’t mean that I’m not going to be friends with them.  When I say: ‘Be kind to one another,’ I don’t mean only the people that think the same way that you do. I mean be kind to everyone.  [It] doesn’t matter.”
