DEMI MOORE is NUDE on the cover of the new issue of “Harper’s Bazaar”, and she looks fantastic. Photoshop gets some of the credit, but for 56, she looks great. She talks about her crazy childhood, including having to revive her mother from an overdose.  She says, “The next thing I remember is using my fingers, the small fingers of a child, to dig the pills my mother had tried to swallow out of her mouth while my father held it open and told me what to do.” Demi reveals in another publicationthat she miscarried shortly after she started dating ASHTON KUTCHER in 2003.  It was a girl, and they were going to name her Chaplin Ray. Demi says she blamed herself and started drinking to cope with the loss.  She and Ashton married in 2005, but her drinking only got worse, and she was also abusing Vicodin. Demi and Ashton split in 2011, amid reports that he cheated on her.  In 2012, she had a seizure after she smoked synthetic cannabis and inhaled nitrous oxide. Demi covers all of this, and her eventual recovery, in a new memoir called “Inside Out”, which hits the shelves on September 24th.

The New York Jets are playing the Cleveland Browns on “Monday Night Football” this weekend. Jets quarterback SAM DARNOLD can’t play because he has MONO. He’ll be out multiple weeks. Darnold lost five pounds in just a few days so he knew something was wrong.  He’ll be “quarantined” at his apartment until Jets’ medical staff feels it’s safe to expose him to the rest of the team. Mono CAN become serious, and it’s definitely no fun to have . . . so it’s not like Darnold is being soft by sitting out.  Mono can knock you out for around a month . . . if not longer.

A new study found the average American will spend a total of $121,082 going on DATES over the course of their lifetime. And it doesn’t end when you settle down and get married.  Spending actually goes UP. The average person spends $168 a month on dates.  But people who are married spend $186 a month on dates. We do tend to overspend on dates just to impress the other person.  But that urge ends around date number six. The survey also asked people why they AVOID dating.  And the price tag did make the top five, but it’s not number one. Our top five excuses for not dating are:  “I prefer hanging out with friends” . . . “I can’t afford it” . . . “I’m not confident enough” . . . “I’m too introverted” . . . and “I don’t like meeting new people.”

Craig Morgan’s song “The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost” made it to Number One on BOTH the iTunes country and all-genre chart. Earlier this week Blake Shelton made it his mission to get people on it, and he was very successful. Blake wrote, “Ladies and gentleman, one of the hardest things to ever achieve in music is having a #1 selling song of ALL music ALL genres. You can’t fake it.  The song has to touch people.  Congratulations Craig.  This one’s for Jerry.” Craig did hit up Instagram to say he’s “humbled by the support” . . . and he thanked Blake for being an “awesome friend.”

KACEY MUSGRAVES is in the October 2019 issue of “Marie Claire”. Here are some highlights: On her career beginning:  “From the get-go, I wasn’t going to sign a record deal unless I could do it on my terms.  I’ve been asked to change lyrics and do things I wasn’t into.  But I’m not going to bend in hopes that it’ll reach more people or whatever.” About her appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race”:  “I’ve always felt my best when I basically look like a drag queen.” On her strive for perfection:  “I fixate on my flaws.  I can be really critical.  I think that’s the Virgo in my personality.” On being true to herself:  “If I go down in flames for being me, at least I went down in flames for something that I was, rather than something I wasn’t.”
