A new version of “The Flintstones” is in the works, and it’s being produced by ELIZABETH BANKS. It’ll be animated, but geared toward adults.  There’s no word yet on a network.

Of all the things DAVID BOWIE aspired to in his life, I have a feeling the last thing he would have wanted to be was a BARBIE DOLL. But Mattel has released a Barbie dressed up like Ziggy Stardust . . . to commemorate the anniversary of the song “Space Oddity” . . . which was released in the U.K. 50 years ago yesterday. She’s $50. If you can’t find her at a local store, you can order her from Mattel’s website.

MICHAEL KEATON did a PSA for PETA about the evils of “roadside zoos” where wild animals are captured and presented so people can take selfies with them. He says, “They’re living creatures, so I just don’t like when their [dignity] is taken away.”

OLD DOMINION is one of the bands featured in a “New York Times” article called “A Tour of the Tour Buses.” There are photos of them hanging out inside and outside of the bus.  They spent 10 years bouncing around in cramped vans and cheaper buses before upgrading. Bassist GEOFF SPRUNG says “The same five guys [in] close quarters together a couple hundred days a year.  I had to learn everyone’s idiosyncrasies and quirks because you either celebrate it or it drives you crazy.” MATTHEW RAMSEY remembers when they finally got their first big bus, and then piled inside.  “Our tour manager came back and said, ‘Guys, there’s 40 feet of bus.  You all don’t have to sit crammed around the same couch.'” There’s a photo is them sitting on lawn chairs OUTSIDE the bus.  There’s AstroTurf under their feet and they’re watching a big screen TV that’s tucked into the outside luggage compartment.

LUKE COMBS can’t stop working, and creating. He just added 5 shows to his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour.  You may have heard him announce plans to post preview clips of new, unreleased songs every Thursday.  The one from July 4th is called “Better Together”. Yesterday’s song is called “Reasons”.  He says, “There are a lot of things out there that happen that I don’t always understand, so I wrote a song about it.  Hope y’all like it.”

KELSEA BALLERINI and her husband Morgan Evans took a vacation to Greece. She posted several photos of the good times – as well as the not-so good times when she came down with a “case of food poisoning.” Despite that, she was listening to “mixes” the whole time, and is ready to start recording new music.

HEIDI KLUM secretly got married back in February. She’s 45 . . . her husband is 29.

DIANE KEATON says she hasn’t been on a date in 35 years.

CARLY PEARCE and MICHAEL RAY visited a young girl in the hospital who’s suffering from leukemia. Carly posted a photo and asked for prayers to help her “fight this battle that I KNOW she will win.”

LEE BRICE posted a clip of himself in the House of Blues recording studio. He captioned it, “We’re starting to work on my new record and I want to give you guys an inside look throughout this whole process.  New music coming soon.”

Chris Hemsworth named one of his twin sons Tristan because of Brad Pitt’s character in “Legends of the Fall”.  He says, quote, “There’s never been a more beautiful man on screen.
