Starbucks got all that free publicity from the”Game of Thrones” coffee cup goof, but as we sfound out, it WASN’T a Starbucks cup. HBO described it as a “craft services coffee cup,” but apparently it was provided by an actual coffee shop called Paper Cup. The owner confirmed that it was their cup . . . and said he wasn’t happy that Starbucks got all the attention.

In 1997, TYRA BANKS became the first black model to get a solo cover of the “Sports Illustrated” Swimsuit issue. Now, 23 years later, she’s 45 years old and back on the cover. There are three covers this year.  The other two feature soccer star ALEX MORGAN and New England Patriots cheerleader CAMILLE KOSTEK. The cover marks a return to modeling for Tyra, which also comes with a new name:  From now on she just wants to be known as BanX . . . B-a-n-Capital X.  She says it symbolizes the “X-ing out [of] cookie cutter beauty. I’m wiser now and thicker.”

MEL GIBSON is playing Santa in an upcoming movie. This isn’t a warm, fuzzy holiday film, though.  It’s called “Fatman”, and it’s a dark action comedy about a, “rowdy, unorthodox Santa” whose business is in decline. Meanwhile, a 12-year-old kid named Billy has hired a hitman to KILL Santa, after getting coal in his stocking.  It’ll film early next year.

It’s been 2 ½ yrs, but BILLY BUSH is making a comeback. He’s going to be hosting a new version of “Extra” called “Extra Extra” beginning this fall. The current “Extra” with Mario Lopez will continue its run through the end of the season.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD doesn’t remember growing up with Mother’s Day traditions. Although there was one time when she and her dad tried and failed to make her mom breakfast. As for herself, she doesn’t expect much but does love surprises from her four-year-old son Isaiah.  “It’s really sweet, because he likes to bring me things.  He’s such a sweet little guy, and anytime he’s outside, he’ll pick me flowers.”

You may have heard how the average couple spends 528 hours planning their wedding. Doesn’t sound like CARLY PEARCE spent anywhere near that amount of time planning her upcoming wedding to MICHAEL RAY. That’s because she’s been leaning on her mom to handle a lot of it. She says, I’m so not a bride by nature.  I’m like, ‘what do I need to do?’  I’m just going to show up make sure there’s wine and good food . . . and I hope he shows up.” She was asked about the first dance, and she hasn’t put a lot of thought into that either.  Although she does know it will NOT be one of their songs.  “I could see us choreographing something after we both drink a bottle of wine and we want to dance to Bruno Mars, but not to our songs.”

BRETT YOUNG’s voice has healed enough for him to get back on stage. He’ll be opening tonight when KELSEA BALLERINI’s Miss Me More Tour stops in Duluth, Minnesota.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed Wednesday the unique name they chose for their newborn son: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. British oddsmakers’ top picks for potential names included more traditional ones, like Arthur, James, Philip and Albert. Bookies revealed just 60 bets were placed on Archie at 100/1, amounting to exactly $130. Archie is a shortened version of the name Archibald, meaning genuine and bold or brave. Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll of Scotland was also an ancestor of Princess Diana’s. The baby’s middle name, Harrison, originated in the Middle Ages as a patronymic meaning “son of Henry” or “son of Harry.”

LUKE COMBS sings in a bar in his “Beer Never Broke My Heart” video. There are some “broken heart” scenes too.  There’s a lost dog poster, a rejected marriage proposal, and a missed field goal.  But my favorite is the bottle of ale labeled, “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”  I want one.

Al Capone was incarcerated in Philadelphia’s Eastern State Penitentiary for possessing an unlicensed and concealed firearm in 1929. He would be released in 1930 then go to a federal prison on tax evasion two years later.  The prison in Philadelphia closed in 1970 and reopened in 1994 as a historic site.  Work began earlier this year to make an historically accurate recreation of Capone’s cell – including the fact that he had a roommate and the placement of items that weren’t as luxurious as initially reported at the time.
