Yes, it’s happening. Kim Kardashian is not going to law school, but she’s becoming a lawyer. She’s doing it through California’s “reading the law” program, where you study on your own and work with a practicing attorney. She’s doing a 4-year apprenticeship with a firm in San Francisco, and plans to take the bar exam in 2022. Helping PRESIDENT TRUMP with prison reform was the turning point for Kim, but her interest in law goes back to seeing her dad, Robert Kardashian, work on the O.J. Simpson case. “My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books.  On weekends I would always snoop and look through.  I was really nosy about the forensics.” VAN JONES from CNN says she’s not what most people think she is. She is using her full power to make a difference on a tough issue and is shockingly good at it.” Elsewhere in the interview, Kim discussed KANYE WEST’s bipolar disorder.  ” Right now everything is really calm.  But we can definitely feel episodes coming, and we know how to handle them.” She adds that medication is “not really an option, because it just changes who he is.”

EARL THOMAS CONLEY has died. He was 77.  He had been in poor health for a few years, and was in hospice care for several months.  He suffered from a condition similar to dementia. BLAKE SHELTON made the announcement yesterday, saying, “My heart is absolutely destroyed.  I’m sad to report that Earl Thomas Conley passed away very early this morning.  Earl was my all-time favorite singer, hero, and my friend.  Prayers to his family.  We will all miss you deeply my brother.  Now go rest.” Blake idolized the guy.  During an interview last year he called him his “musical hero” and said he was an “incredible vocalist” who was “underrated.”  They’ve known each other a long time, co-writing Blake’s 2002 hit “All Over Me”. Earl wrote or co-wrote the bulk of his own hits.  He charted 34 songs in his career.  25 were Top 10 hits, and of those, 18 went to Number One. He and ANITA POINTER of the Pointer Sisters had a huge hit with their song “Too Many Times”, which led to an appearance for them on “Soul Train”. He and EMMYLOU HARRIS had a #1 hit in 1988 with “We Believe in Happy Endings”. JASON ALDEAN said, “Man, what a voice this guy had.  Spent many nights listening and playing his songs.  Country music lost a great one.”  CHRIS YOUNG called it a “sad day for country music.” JOHN RICH Tweeted, “He was a huge influence on my style and songwriting.  I studied his records like textbooks and could play every note of every song.  Truly one of the all-time greats in country music.” TRISHA YEARWOOD said, “I am so sad to hear this news.  Earl Thomas Conley, you will be greatly missed.”  And TOBY KEITH wrote, “An all-time great.  Huge influence on me.  Loved him.  Prayers to his family.”

Forget what you’ve heard, TANYA TUCKER is NOT dating DENNIS QUAID. According to “People”, they’re friends who first met on the set of the 1981 movie, “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia”.  They reconnected recently because they’ve been working on music together.

Rascal Flatts have released a beautiful video for their single “Back to Life.” It documents the group’s performance of the song during a sold-out show at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in CO in September 2018. Alongside footage of the band performing the track, the video also showcases their view from the stage, as the crowd of more than 9,000 people light up their phones. The video also captures fans’ passion for the song, with many swaying to the beat and singing along as they hold their phones in the air. “This was such a special night at a venue that’s been on our bucket list for quite some time,” Jay DeMarcus says. “We felt like this was the perfect video for the new single, as you can see how palpable the connection between the fans and this song has been so far.” “Back to Life” was released last year.

RILEY GREEN has found out that fans can be a bit obsessive. Someone once showed him a post on social media.  It was a woman’s 40th birthday cake, and it had a picture of his face on top.  “That’s when I kind of knew I made it.”

A live action remake of 1994’s The Lion King is coming to theaters this summer. In the first trailer for the movie we see a variety of iconic recreated scenes and hear James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa telling young Simba (Donald Glover), “Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance.  While others search for what they can take, a true king searches for what he can give.”  It hits theaters July 19.

When Lori Loughlin‘s daughters Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, applied to college, Lori was determined they attend the University of Southern California. “Lori is used to getting what she wants,” says the family source. “This is why she got in trouble in the first place. She got fixated on getting her girls into USC.” Loughlin and her husband now face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each charge in a college admissions scandal that has captured national fascination.

“Avengers: Endgame” is going to ROCK the box office – but will it break the opening weekend record of $257.7 million that “Avengers: Infinity War” set last April. It sounds like it WILL, because it doesn’t hit theaters for two weeks, and it’s already breaking records. “Endgame” has sold more advance tickets in its first week than “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, the previous record holder. It sold more tickets in its first 24 hours than any movie in history. Thousands of showtimes at theaters across the country have been sold out, so theaters are scheduling new showings . . . some at crazy times like between 4:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.
