DEMI LOVATO warned us she was off the wagon, but yesterday, she ended up in the hospital after an apparent OVERDOSE. Early reports said it was HEROIN, but now TMZ claims it wasn’t. Last night her rep said she was “awake and with her family.” Police were called to Demi’s house a little before noon, but a source says Demi and the other people there were uncooperative, and wouldn’t tell officers what she took. No drugs were taken from the house, so there’s not likely to be a criminal investigation. Demi was treated with Narcan, which is a drug that counteracts opioid overdoses. But “Us Weekly” says it was actually one of Demi’s friends who administered it. Supposedly, they were expecting this, because Demi was partying so much. The night before her overdose, she was out in West Hollywood, celebrating a friend’s birthday. Demi had just performed in California on Sunday, and was scheduled to play tomorrow in Atlantic City. Obviously, that’s not happening. Demi announced her relapse last month, with the release of a song called “Sober”. Demi’s been getting all kinds of Twitter love from friends, including Joe Jonas, Lady Gaga, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Paisley, Ariana Grande, Cardi B.

Another day, another record for FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE. They’ve now spent a cumulative total of 90 weeks at the top of “Billboard’s” Hot Country Songs chart. That’s more than anyone in the history of that chart, which dates back to 1958. They crushed George Strait’s previous total of 84 weeks. The FGL songs that have spent time at the top are: “Cruise”, “Stay”, “This Is How We Roll”, “Dirt”, “H.O.L.Y.” . . . and their current #1 with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be”. And that song could make history. It’s been #1 for 34 straight weeks, which ties Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road”. So, if it can hang on one more week, they’ll own that record too. BRIAN KELLEY tells “Billboard”, “We are absolutely blown away and extremely humbled to even be on the same chart as George Strait and some of our other heroes and country legends.”
“People” asked JON PARDI what really frightens him, “Brown recluse spiders in your bed. That’s really scary.” Even scarier, he has first-hand knowledge. He says his girlfriend once rifled through their sheets and found a “huge brown recluse.” That sent him on a mission to warn the world. “I let everybody know they’re called ‘recluse’ because they like to hide in dark, cool places. I’m studying these guys. I’m not getting bit by one. I’ve seen pictures of the bites and it’s not fun. Black flesh, skin grafts. That’s probably the most scary thing in my life right now.” Some of those pictures may have been of Meghan Linsey, remember her ordeal.
