The creators of “Sesame Street” are suing the producers of “The Happytime Murders”, which is that new, totally R-RATED puppet movie starring MELISSA MCCARTHY. Sesame Workshop says the movie tarnishes its “trusted brand”, especially the uncensored trailer that just came out, featuring the tagline, “No Sesame. All Street.” “The threat of irreparable injury posed to Sesame’s mark cannot be overstated.” Now, the Henson Company worked on “The Happytime Murders”, and it was even directed by JIM HENSON’s son Brian.
ARIE LUYENDYK JR. made the most recent season of “The Bachelor” notable – by proposing to Becca Kufrin, then calling off the engagement and proposing to the runner-up Lauren Burnham. Now, Arie says HE feels “100% betrayed” by the show. He said, “[The ‘unedited’ break-up scene] was completely edited. I was told to stay on that couch. I tried to leave, and then production was like, ‘You need to go back inside. She’s finally calming down. I feel like you owe it to her to have this conversation.’ So then I went back in the house . . .“They cut out, obviously, production talking to me from 10 feet away . . . [it] was super unfair to me.” But Arie says he still has “a lot of love” for the “Bachelor” team, even though they made everyone in America hate him for that engagement switcheroo.
TAYLOR SWIFT performed at a BBC event in Wales on Sunday, and afterward a reporter told her she STUNK. He ended the interview by ‘joking,’ “It’s nice to see you. I think you need to have a shower now. Taylor said, “I agree, and I’m not offended that you said that. There’s a lot going on and none of it’s good here.” She seemed sincere. She probably knew she was a sweaty mess. And why wouldn’t she be after finishing a show? In any event, some of Taylor’s fans flipped out about it on Twitter.
A stomach bug kept WILLIE NELSON from performing at Saturday’s Outlaw Music Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina. He tried. He took the stage TWICE but never played one note. The first time he walked over to his guitar, fiddled with the straps, and then put them back down and left the stage. A while later he came back and this time he picked up the guitar – only to set it back down. As he left the stage he tossed his cowboy hat into the crowd. And he may have been thinking about a third attempt, because it took another hour before they announced the show was canceled. Willie’s rep said he is planning to do a makeup show. Willie was well enough to perform the next night, on Sunday, in Washington D.C.
LUKE BRYAN’s 10th Annual Farm Tour will kick off September 27th in Irwin, Ohio, hitting a total of six cities when it wraps October 6th in Ringgold, Georgia. Proceeds will provide scholarships to students from farming families who attend a college or university near the tour stops.
According to “Life & Style”, MIRANDA LAMBERT would like to have babies with her boyfriend Evan Felker. They’ve only been dating a few months. A source said, “Miranda would love to have a baby with Evan. [She] would like him to be divorced first, but the truth is she doesn’t care that it’s not official yet. Hugh Grant is married for the first time at 57! The actor tied the knot with Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein in London last Friday. Photos show the couple celebrating with friends and family outside of the wedding venue after tying the knot. Grant and Eberstein’s wedding follows just days after the couple’s engagement was revealed and just months after they welcomed their third child together, Hugh’s fifth child.
