Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris & Jon Pardi Win ACM Awards for Best New Duo, New Female Vocalist & New Male Vocalist

In the lead-up to the ACM Awards show on April 2, the Academy of Country Music announced three ACM Award winners today (March 14).

  • New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year: Brothers Osborne
  • New Female Vocalist of the Year: Maren Morris
  • New Male Vocalist of the Year: Jon Pardi

These awards mark the first-ever ACM Award wins for Brothers Osborne, Maren and Jon.

Brothers Osborne are also nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year. Maren received an additional five nominations, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (as artist and producer) and Single Record of the Year (as artist and producer).

It was also announced that Brothers Osborne, Maren and Jon will be performing during the ACM Awards show on April 2 in Las Vegas, which is hosted by Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan.

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson has died.  His family didn’t announce the exact date or cause of death, but he was diagnosed with dementia and placed in a conservatorship last year.  He was 82.
