Just a Man and His Piano: Watch Keith Urban’s Captivating Medley of “The Fighter” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”

There’s a reason Keith Urban scored seven ACM nominations in five categories—including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year—and it’s not because he sports a great head of hair.

Keith’s current album, Ripcord, is one of the best-selling country albums of 2016, according to Billboard and Nielson Music. His fourth single from the album, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” has simultaneously occupied the top spot on four Billboard charts: Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs (airplay/sales/streaming), Country Digital Song Sales and Country Streaming Songs, while “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Wasted Time,” and “Break On Me”—the first three singles from Ripcord—have also hit the top spot on the chart.

It’s no wonder that when the Australian cutie sits down at a piano for an intimate performance, we stop to listen. Keith took to Instagram to post a video of himself—no doubt just fiddling around—sitting at a piano, performing a medley of his current single, “The Fighter,” and his most recent No. 1 hit, “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” and the result is enthralling.

“Blue Ain’t Your Color” is Keith’s 21st Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 and the radio version of Keith’s current single, “The Fighter,” features Carrie Underwood. However, for this version, Keith went solo.
