Kelsea Ballerini sizzled during her performance of “The Christmas Song”—aka “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire”—during last night’s (Nov. 28) CMA Country Christmas.
The tune, which was penned by Mel Torme and Robert Wells, was originally recorded by Nat King Cole in 1946 and has become a Christmas staple with covers by a who’s who of stars, including Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Aretha Franklin, Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, George Strait and more.

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson has died. His family didn’t announce the exact date or cause of death, but he was diagnosed with dementia and placed in a conservatorship last year. He was 82.
