Mickey Guyton Gets Engaged

Mickey Guyton got engaged yesterday (Nov. 9) to her longtime boyfriend. She shared the news on Instagram with a pic of the engagement ring and a heartfelt post.

So . . . I’m not one to really talk about my relationship because I can be pretty private when it comes to matters of my heart. But here we are and this took me completely by surprise. It’s not about finding the perfect person. It’s about finding someone that you can go thru heaven and hell with. #icanteven #guessitsmyturn

Mickey might not be one to talk about her current relationship (we know he’s a lawyer that she’s been dating for about five years), but she doesn’t mind singing about past beaus. Both of her singles, “Better Than You Left Me” and “Heartbreak Song” tackle the topic of a past relationship.

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson has died.  His family didn’t announce the exact date or cause of death, but he was diagnosed with dementia and placed in a conservatorship last year.  He was 82.
