Watch Toby Keith Pay Tribute to Merle Haggard With a 6-Song Medley at the Opry

Less than a month after Merle Haggard’s death on April 6, 2016, longtime friend Toby Keith paid tribute to his buddy with a medley of the Hag’s hits at the American Country Countdown Awards on May 1. A few weeks later, Toby stepped onstage at the famed Grand Ole Opry on May 20 and saluted Merle once again with a six-song medley of “Mama Tried,” “Today I Started Loving You Again,” “Silver Wings,” “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink,” “Workin’ Man Blues” and “Okie From Muskogee.”

Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson has died.  His family didn’t announce the exact date or cause of death, but he was diagnosed with dementia and placed in a conservatorship last year.  He was 82.
