Charlie Daniels Gets Country Music Hall of Fame Exhibit

Today the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum announced that Charlie Daniels will be the subject of a new exhibition titled, “Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflections.”

Earlier this year Charlie was revealed to be one of three 2016 Hall of Fame inductees along with Randy Travis and Monument Records founder, Fred Foster. The three men will be formally inducted at the Medallion Ceremony in October.

“I can’t even articulate how honored I am by this exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” said Charlie. “I couldn’t think of a better name myself unless it would be ‘Five Million Mile Reflections.’”

The exhibit will focus on how Charlie and his music have affected the entertainment and music industries. It will feature an array of musical instruments, manuscripts, awards, never-before-seen photographs from the artist’s personal collection and more.

“Charlie Daniels forged a bracing new musical style out of bluegrass, blues, country, jazz and rock & roll,” said museum CEO Kyle Young. “His musical journey has led him to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where he will be inducted in October. It is only appropriate that we celebrate his remarkable career with our latest exhibition.”

The exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will be open starting Sept. 23 and run through March 2017.
