Tonight’s “Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special” will showcase a talented singer named ADDIE PRATT and she’s a St. Jude’s cancer survivor. She and Brad do a song called “Alive Right Now”. He chose her because he wanted to “shine a light on something good” in the special.  Brad says, “It’s one of the highlights of not only the night, but of my entire career.  She did so great on this performance that we had her come in the studio and record it for the record.  You’ll hear this [song] on the radio, and you might think it’s a top new female vocalist in country music. You’ve probably heard about all the stars.  It features Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, Peyton Manning, Chris Harrison, Hootie & The Blowfish, and the Jonas Brothers. Brad said the Jonas Brothers are the “best sports” when it comes to comedy.  There’s even a bit in tonight’s show that pokes serious fun at NICK JONAS. Brad came up with a great fundraising idea for The Store, which is his free grocery store in Nashville.  It’s “Brad Paisley’s Celebrity Dodgeball Tournament” on February 20th on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville. There will also be musical performances from Brad and some of his friends.  The celebrity guests for both parts of the event will be announced in the coming weeks.

ANDY SAMBERG will host a show called “Biggest Little Cook-Off” for the upcoming streaming service Quibi. Contestants will attempt to prepare full meals, roughly the size of a DIME.

BILLIE EILISH was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” recently, and she didn’t seem familiar with VAN HALEN. The Internet was apparently STUNNED by this, which is weird since Billie is 17, and all Van Halen’s classic albums came out before she was born. They did put out an album in 2012 with David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang. Wolfgang, who’s 28 now, is coming to Billie’s defense, “If you haven’t heard of Billie Eilish, go check her out. She’s cool.  If you haven’t heard of Van Halen, go check them out.  They’re cool too. Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us.  Listen to what you want and don’t shame others for not knowing what you like.”

JOAQUIN PHOENIX was passed over for Sexiest Man Alive AGAIN but he went from the mega-success of “Joker” to being named PETA’s Person of the Year. Phoenix is a staunch supporter of animal rights, and he’s been a vegan since the age of 3, when he saw a fish get caught and gutted on the deck of a ship. PETA says, “Joaquin Phoenix never misses an opportunity to turn the spotlight away from himself and onto animals’ plight and to set a great example of walking the vegan walk.” Past Person of the Year winners include Pope Francis, Oprah Winfrey, Anjelica Huston, Olivia Munn, Eva Mendes, and Alicia Silverstone.

RAELYNN’s new song “Bra Off” isn’t intended to be sexy. Just the opposite.  She says, “Everybody loves a great heartbreak song and I just wanted to take a more clever, funny approach to it because that’s how I felt. The breakup in this song is NOT sad.  She says it’s the kind where you’re so relieved it’s over that it’s like taking off a suffocating bra or getting out of a tight pair of jeans at the end of the day.  It’ll be on her next EP which is due out early next year.

I kind of feel like I know THOMAS RHETT’s family because he shares a lot of their experiences on social media. But that’s as far as he’ll go.  He’s been asked several times to do a reality show, but he’s not interested. “We pretty much open our home and our marriage to our fans in a way, where it’s like you see that the good, bad, the ugly.  And I think a reality show might be too much.”
