TAYLOR SWIFT had a huge night at the “American Music Awards”, performing that medley that included several of her old songs, and breaking the record for most “AMA” wins. Taylor won six awards, including Artist of the Decade, to break the record for most “AMA” wins, with 29. Michael Jackson was the previous record-holder. Taylor didn’t talk any trash about Scooter Braun or Big Machine Records.  During her 3rd speech, for Artist of the Year, she said, “The last year of my life has had some of the most amazing times and also some of, just the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life. And not a lot of them are things that haven’t been public.” Halsey won Best Pop/Rock Song for “Without Me”, and went on to diss most awards. “Most of these awards really aren’t what they seem, at all – I am so thankful for the “AMAs” because they are the world’s largest fan-voted award show.” As far as the award counts, nobody else came close to Taylor.

There have been MICHAEL JACKSON documentaries – but now there’s a “biopic” in development from one of the producers behind the QUEEN movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It’ll cover his WHOLE life – from his childhood up through the allegations of sexual abuse. And they say it will NOT be a “sanitized” version, but you might want to take that with a grain of salt. Michael’s estate is involved in this movie and they’ve already given the filmmakers permission to use Michael’s life AND all his music. And judging by how upset they were over the “Leaving Neverland” documentary, they wouldn’t have signed off on all of that without knowing how the story would be told.

SAM HUNT issued an apology for last Thursday morning’s DUI arrest on Friday. “Wednesday night I decided to drive myself home after drinking at a friend’s show in downtown Nashville. It was a poor and selfish decision and I apologize to everyone who was unknowingly put at risk and let down by it.  It won’t happen again.” Fans took the opportunity to hit up the comment section with their thoughts.  Some gave him props for admitting he was wrong and vowing to never do it again, while others called him out for endangering people’s lives. RILEY GREEN said it’s an “awful thing,” and he’s glad that nobody got injured.

CHRIS YOUNG went into the crowd to sing with a cancer patient during his show on Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky. He saw a woman holding a sign that said, “Chemo Yesterday . . . Chris Young Today.” He pushed through the crowd to give her a long hug, and then held the sign up high for everyone to see.  He put his arm around her as they sang a little bit of “Who I Am With You”.  He posted the video yesterday on Twitter.
