JENNIFER LAWRENCE is getting married tomorrow at a mansion in Rhode Island called the Belcourt of Newport. It’s the home of the woman who owns the Alex & Ani jewelry company. Jennifer’s husband-to-be is Cooke Maroney, a 34-year-old art gallery director.  Jennifer is 29. They’re having about 150 guests, who will get to choose between two meal options:  either wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter, or five-week-aged leg of beef with forager’s sauce. They’re also having S’mores. Jennifer and Cooke got engaged in February, after less than a year together.

Airbnb is hooking people up with places like the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, Goodyear Blimp, and Jim Beam distillery. Now, in honor of the 60th anniversary of Barbie, they’re offering a chance to spend 2 nights at a real-life version of Barbie’s Malibu Dream House in California. From the pictures, it looks very impressive.  And it’s just $60-a-night. But, only ONE person will get to make a reservation to stay there. Reservations open next Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. and if you’re the one lucky person who gets through, you and up to three other people can stay there from Sunday the 27th through Tuesday the 29th.

In the ’90s, JIMMY JOHNSON was winning Super Bowls as the coach of the Dallas Cowboys. In the late ’50s, he was at Thomas Jefferson High School in Texas – bullying JANIS JOPLIN.  Jimmy has talked about his encounters with Janis before, but there are more details in a book called “Janis: Her Life and Music”, which comes out next week. Jimmy didn’t dig Janis because she wasn’t a part of the jock crowd.  He made her life “miserable” because she hated sports and dressed like a Beatnik.

It was kind of a surprise when THOMAS RHETT took a moment to pray for Kane Brown’s late drummer at the “CMT Artists of the Year” on Wednesday. It’s not something you see too often at shows like that. The coolest part was how everyone was on-board with it.  It just felt right.  Plus, he was so sincere and real. And that’s no surprise because faith is a huge part of Thomas’s life.  It’s something he talked about in an interview several days before the show. There was a time when he simply wanted to be a songwriter.  That was his dream, and then things progressed and kept moving forward, and now here he is with an amazingly successful career. He calls it “a God thing.” He believes every single decision he’s ever made in his career is part of God’s plan, and he’s humbled by it all.

The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical version of “SpongeBob SquarePants” is coming to Nickelodeon in December. It won’t be live, but it’ll be filmed in front of a live audience.

This week’s CD Releases include new music from Chris Janson. CHRIS’ new album “Real Friends” drops today, so “Billboard” asked if he has a favorite song on it. It’s the song “Done”, and it describes how he felt the moment he laid eyes on his future wife. “The first time I saw Kelly I said, ‘Done’, and that’s true.  I’m so in love with my wife and I have no qualms about telling people or sharing it publicly.  This career has grown us into being kind of a semi-open book family and I’m okay with that because we work together.  She manages me.  We write together.  We love together.  We raise kids together.  We do everything together. I wrote ‘Done’ about her.  I wrote about [our house with] a four-plank fence on a hill that we live in.  Everything is autobiographical.  Everything I write about is real.”  Chris and Kelly have been married for nine years.

“Billboard” listed their most memorable moments from the “CMT Artists of the Year” show and red carpet. They include DAN + SHAY’s ” performance” of “Tequila” – KANE BROWN dedicating his award to his late drummer – and all the artists who said REBA MCENTIRE had a “huge impact on their careers.”

LPGA golfer Lee Ann Walker received 58 penalty strokes after violating a new rule barring caddies from lining up behind players as they putt. Walker reported the violation to judges and then recreated her rounds.  She received 42 penalty strokes for Monday’s round and 16 penalty strokes for Tuesday’s round.  Each penalty is two strokes.  Walker said, “It was my fault for not knowing the rules… Big lesson learned.”
