Future NASCAR Hall of Famer TONY STEWART took part in a sprint car race in Jackson, Minnesota the other night. And his engine blew one lap into it.  So fans were disappointed. Then he was signing autographs later, and some idiot in the crowd started yelling at him for QUITTING the race.  There’s cell phone footage, and you can see him trying to ignore the guy.  But then they start flipping each other off . . . and it’s ON. Tony ran straight at the guy . . . threw a left hook . . . and LANDED it.  It may have been a glancing blow.  But he definitely hit the guy in the face.  No charges have been filed . . . yet.

Famous people love talking about the crummy jobs they had on the way up . . . and we love hearing about them. But here’s a twist:  SHERYL CROW has never had a bad job. That’s what she said during a game of “First Best Last Worst” with “Billboard”.  Here are a few of her answers: First country performer I looked up to:  “Barbara Mandrell.  She and her sisters could play everything.  She had a TV show and she could play pedal steel.  I wanted to be her.” Best advice I ever received:  “My dad, from quoting the title of a book he was reading:  ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’.” Worst job I ever had:  “Oh wow, I’ve never had any terrible jobs.  I’ve been a lifeguard, a waitress, and I’ve been a schoolteacher.  And what I’m doing now, so I guess I haven’t really had a terrible job.  I was a babysitter, [but] no.”
