Former GUNS N’ ROSES drummer STEVEN ADLER was hospitalized last night, after allegedly STABBING HIMSELF at his home in L.A. Someone called 911 . . . and when the cops and paramedics arrived, they found Steven with a stab wound to his stomach. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.
PAUL RUDD has joined the cast of the new “Ghostbusters” movie. His character will be a small-town teacher. This is a direct sequel to the ’80s movies, and will have nothing to do with the 2016 reboot.
An interactive exhibit is coming to New York City this fall – The Seinfeld Experience, with exhibits that feature costumes, memorabilia, set re-creations, and props from the show – and merchandise.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD was asked for her take on all the “party songs” in country music. “There are a lot of songs that aren’t actually saying too much. Fun songs to listen along to – party vibe. [But] it makes my skin crawl when I hear somebody say ‘Gurrrl’ in a song.” Carrie may be like the girl next door, but isn’t afraid to show her dark side. “I hope people know you gotta have a little crazy in ya. I’ve got long blond hair and I like glitter. [But] there’s a little crazy in there, and I like that to come out every once in a while. “Keep in mind that she went through a phase in her songs where she killed a lot of people.”
SHERYL CROW has 2 sons – 9 and 12. “Every day I try to teach them that it matters what the truth is, and that you stand up for what you believe in. It matters that you stand up against cruelty even on the playground [and] that you treat each other with empathy and compassion. Yet, everything outside of our home can work exactly opposite of that. It can undo everything that I’m trying to teach them. And it gets harder and harder. And what happens matters every day – what you say and how you treat each other.” She says those were the ideas and feelings she considered as she was choosing and writing songs for her album, “Threads”, which drops August 30th. Keep in mind this is her final album.
Good news if you’re a die-hard RASCAL FLATTS fan. They’re planning to stay together forever. JAY DEMARCUS sees them as “old men” sitting on their porches playing guitars, and maybe doing the Opry a few times a year. He said “The 3 of us will be making music together until one of us kicks the bucket.”

That romantic comedy, “Yesterday”, about a world without The Beatles is out today. It’s up against the new “Annabelle” movie. “Avengers: Endgame” is also getting a re-release with new post-credit scenes.
