“Avengers: Endgame” might beat “Avatar’s” box office record because it’s coming back to theaters next weekend with NEW FOOTAGE. But you have to wait until the end of the movie to see it. “If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.” Some people think the new footage will include tie-ins to “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, because it’s coming out just a few days later, on July 2nd.

A car crashed into Bob Barker’s Hollywood Hills home. The vehicle slammed into the perimeter wall, but didn’t get close to the house — the 95-year-old former Price Is Right host was safely inside. The car was involved in a collision on the street, and the impact sent it flying into Barker’s wall. There were no injuries to people, but clearly to vehicles … and walls.

Carrie Underwood is facing a lawsuit for allegedly copying another singer-songwriter’s material for her 2018 Sunday Night Football theme song “Game On.” In a complaint filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court, Heidi Merrill claims she wrote and recorded an identically titled track in 2016 and pitched her song to Underwood and her producer, Mark Bright, at a Nashville conference the following year with the idea that Underwood might use it as her next Sunday Night Football theme, but Bright responded through an assistant that he’d “have to pass.” Now, Merrill argues that Underwood’s own “Game On” is “substantially — even strikingly — similar, if not identical,” to her song, in title as well as tempo, meter, time signature, hooks, chord progression and other specifics. Bright and Underwood are among nine defendants named in the lawsuit. Merrill also references a lawsuit from 2017, where Underwood and Bright faced similar accusations for the song “Something in the Water.” That case was dismissed.
