At 71, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER is still a beast. He was in South Africa on Saturday for an event called the Arnold Classic Africa, where a bunch of kids compete in different sporting events. He was talking to some fans in the crowd when a crazed lunatic ran up from behind, and DROP-KICKED him in the BACK. It looked pretty serious at first. Then the guy yelled something about needing a Lamborghini while a very large security guard dragged him away.  Arnold was NOT seriously hurt.  Arnold said afterward that he thought someone just bumped into him at first, and didn’t realize how hard the guy kicked him until he saw the footage. He’s not planning to press charges, he’d rather focus on all the great athletes at the event.  But it sounds like the guy could face charges anyway.

The world has lost one of its favorite Internet memes. GRUMPY CAT passed away last Tuesday. Grumpy Cat’s owner Tabitha made the announcement on Friday, saying that Grumpy Cat “encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome.” She was seven – and in cat years was maybe around 45. Tabitha’s statement also said, “Grumpy Cat has helped millions of people smile all around the world – even when times were tough.  Her spirit will continue to live on through her fans everywhere.” Grumpy Cat had a form of FELINE DWARFISM – and that, along with an underbite, gave her the frown that made her a sensation. GRUMPY CAT’s real name is Tardar Sauce, and she became a viral phenomenon in 2012, after her owner’s brother posted a photo of her on Reddit.  Grumpy Cat had 8.5 million total followers on Facebook, 2.6 million followers on Instagram, and 1.5 million followers on Twitter.

“Avengers: Endgame” spent three weeks at #1, but its reign is over. For now at least.  “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” made $57 million in its first week, which was enough to take over the top spot. “Endgame” still raked in $29.4 million . . . and is now the second-highest grossing movie of all time, domestically and worldwide. It’s made $771 million in the U.S.  That moves it ahead of the $761 million that “Avatar” made, but it still trails “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which is #1 at $937 million. Worldwide, “Endgame” has made a total of $2.614 billion.  That’s second behind “Avatar”, which made $2.788 billion globally.

After 20 years and almost 3,000 episodes, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” has been CANCELED. Chris Harrison from “The Bachelor”, hosting since 2015, will finish out the current season.  Then that’s it.

TRAVIS TRITT’s tour bus was involved in a fatal crash early Saturday morning. No one on the bus was injured, but two people in the other cars died.  This was after his show in Myrtle Beach. It was caused when a Jeep traveling on the wrong side of the road crashed head-on into a pick-up truck.  His bus was sideswiped while trying to avoid it.  He posted a photo of the crash scene and talked about it in a series of Tweets. He wrote, “I’m told [it] was the result of someone who was obviously driving drunk or impaired.  A sober reminder to never drive if you’ve been drinking or impaired.  Uber or Lyft is just a phone call away.”

KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST have named their son PSALM WEST. They haven’t commented on the name . . . but a ‘source’ says it’s because “Both of them read the Bible regularly now – Kanye loves the Books of Poetry of the Bible:  Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon – he reads them over and over.  “Psalms is the longest book in the Bible, but Kanye believes that there’s a lot of wisdom in them. Psalm is a good reflection of where [they] are spiritually.”  Psalm means “song” in Hebrew. Last year, Kim said, “We’re really religious.  We start our day with a group chat with a Bible verse from my mom, and everyone chimes in on the meaning of it.  We’re very Christian . . . our work ethic and our discipline comes from so many years at Catholic school.”

WALKER HAYES’ song “Don’t Let Her” was inspired by his wife, Laney. But he wrote it as a letter to the person who would take his place if something ever happened to him. It’s the things they should and should not do. He also released the lyric video -it’s wall-to-wall photos of Walker and Laney through the years.  It starts off with them as kids and takes you through their dating, marriage, and their own kids.

CODY JOHNSON has been developing his own line of men’s fragrances. He joked when he was recently asked to describe it.  “I would think it needs to be like Brut, Old Spice, Polo – oil-stained fingernails.” Truth is, he’s been wearing a prototype and people like it.  He’s still working out the “business partner stuff,” but it’s only a matter of time after that.  As for a name, he might call it “Man Smells.”

SCARLETT JOHANSSON and COLIN JOST are engaged.

RIC FLAIR is experiencing some sort of medical “complications” . . . so his doctors postponed a surgery that was supposed to happen on Friday.

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY finally received his original high school diploma, more than 30 years after graduating. For whatever reason, he never picked it up back in the day.

The “Big Bang Theory” series finale drew just under 18 million viewers . . . the most for the show since the Season Nine premiere in 2015.

BIG & RICH have been known to perform “Like a Virgin” in concert. Yes, the Madonna song.  Well, a new version of them doing it showed up on YouTube last week.  It’s not country, but it IS really weird.

BRITTANY ALDEAN called-out Internet trolls who tried to body-shame a model she hired for her fashion line. Comments like “she’s too skinny” and “needs a cheeseburger.”  She wrote, “Telling someone to eat more is like telling someone to eat less.  It’s just as rude.  So don’t bring that [crap] to my page.”

SHANIA TWAIN has been cast in the faith-based movie, “I Still Believe”. It’s about Christian music star Jeremy Camp, and Shania will play his mom.  It’ll be in theaters sometime next year.
