This could be really interesting, or a FABULOUS DISASTER. ABC is staging LIVE remakes of episodes of “All in the Family” and “The Jeffersons”. The show will air on May 22nd.  It’ll be 90 minutes long, and Jimmy Kimmel will co-host it with Norman Lear, who created both shows.  And the cast:

Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei will play Archie and Edith Bunker, and Ellie Kemper will play their daughter Gloria.

Jamie Foxx and Wanda Sykes will play George and “Weezie” Jefferson. Justina Machado from the “One Day at a Time” reboot and “Jane the Virgin” will play their maid, Florence. And Will Ferrell will play their white neighbor Tom Willis.

KANYE WEST held his “Sunday Service” at Coachella yesterday, and like any good preacher, he used it as an opportunity to make some CASH. Kanye was selling merchandise – like $50 socks that say “Jesus Walks” and “Church Socks” on them. Then there were the $225 sweatshirts that say “Holy Spirit” on the front, and “Sunday Service at the Mountain” on the back . . . and the $70 “Trust God” T-shirts. He was also selling sweats for $135 to $195. As for the service itself, if you watched it on the Internet, it looked like you were viewing it through a peephole – Kanye did that on purpose.  He also debuted a new song called “Water”. Kim Kardashian was at the “service” with all her sisters and her daughter North.

SHERYL CROW has released a duet with JOHNNY CASH of her song “Redemption Day”. Her original version was on her 1996 self-titled album. Johnny recorded a cover of it in 2003, which was the same year he passed away.  It ended up on his 2010 album. Sheryl made this version a duet by using his original vocals and then re-doing her take. It’s on her next album, which will be out this year.  She also released a video. It begins with her in a field playing piano.  It cuts back and forth between historic footage of wars, civil rights struggles, terrorism, climate change, plus natural and man-made disasters.  It’s bleak. There are clips of Johnny at different stages of his life, and there’s a young boy watching it all.  At the end the kid’s standing in front of a big screen in what looks like an airplane hangar.  Sheryl’s on the screen reaching out and he puts his hand on hers.

KELLY CLARKSON is still denying the rumor that she has a beef with CARRIE UNDERWOOD. “Star” magazine put photos of them on the cover with the heading “secret feud explodes.” They’ve both denied this plenty of times.  Carrie hit the nail on the head last year when she said, “I wish more publications would celebrate women’s success without pitting them against each other.”

THOMAS RHETT and his daughters caught a fish on Easter Sunday . . . although the girls don’t seemed pleased about it. The caption: “Clearly they love it.  Happy Easter, y’all.  Hope everyone is spending time with their families.  Thank you Jesus for this beautiful day.”

“Live at the Opry” released video of KELSEA BALLERINI and CARRIE UNDERWOOD performing the Trisha Yearwood classic, “Walkaway Joe”. It’s from last week when Carrie officially inducted Kelsea into the Grand Ole Opry.

Natlie Morales is bowing out of NBC’s “Access Hollywood” and “Access Live” after three years as co-host. She will continue working for NBC News as West Coast anchor for “Today” and as a correspondent for “Dateline.” Morales is not expected to be immediately replaced. Kit Hoover will remain anchor of the early-evening “Access” newsmagazine, and co-host with Scott Evans of the daytime news and talk show “Access Live.”

It looks like AC Slater, Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski and Jessie Spano still hang out 30 years after going to high school together. The cast from Saved by the Bell reunited for dinner over the weekend.  Elizabeth Berkley, who played Spano, made reference to the show with a post that read, “FRIENDS FOREVER. Mario Lopez, aka AC Slater, shared a video introducing everyone and joking that they would be playing credit card roulette to pay the bill.
