A young couple at an Atlanta Braves spring training game wanted an autograph from CHARLIE CULBERSON. But they didn’t have anything for him to sign . . . so they asked him to sign their FIVE-MONTH-OLD BABY. Now, he didn’t sign the actual baby . . . like its naked skin . . . he signed the kid’s SHIRT.

Every once in a while a song comes along that divides our nation. Remember “Red Solo Cup”?  Some people loved it and thought it was fun . . . while others considered it the devil’s work.  Well, we may have a new contender.  It’s FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s “Swerve” . . . from their “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country” album.

A film centering on Hello Kitty is in the works by New Line Cinema, Sanrio and FlynnPicture Co. The Japanese company behind the toy has granted film rights to the studio to bring Gudetama, My Melody, and Little Twin Stars to the silver screen.  The announcement did not indicate if the movie would be animated, live-action or a hybrid.  A search for creative talent and writers is commencing.

Winter WILL eventually be over . . . and when it is, CMA Fest will be waiting. It’s going down June 6th through the 9th in Nashville and, as always, the list of performers is mind-boggling. Some of the big names include:  Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Carrie Underwood.

LUKE COMBS is everywhere! He’s currently at Number One on all five of the main “Billboard” country charts.  He’s only the second artist to do it.  Kane Brown accomplished it back in 2017.

TAYLOR SWIFT will be turning 30 this year . . . and she’s sharing some of the lessons she’s learned over her first 29 in the new issue of “Elle”.

If exercise was a religion, TIM MCGRAW would be an evangelist. He’s a total believer, and he’d like you to join him.  It’s easy too.  On November 5th, buy his new book, “Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life”. He says, “Physical exercise helps me bring focus to my life and to the people who mean the most to me.  I want this book to help people find what works for them by sharing the mental and physical approach that has worked for me.”

This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour will kick-off June 14th in Bangor, Maine. WILLIE NELSON is headlining . . . while Alison Krauss, Counting Crows, and Steve Earle are some others who will join him on select shows.

JORDAN DAVIS grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, so he knows Mardi Gras. He says you should pace yourself because it’s a long party, stay hydrated on liquids that are NOT alcohol, and definitely have a blast.  But don’t eat the moon pies they throw off the floats.  If you want one, buy your own.

Last summer, “Forbes” raised some eyebrows when they said KYLIE JENNER was poised to become the youngest “self-made” billionaire in history. She’s officially worth $1 BILLION, and at 21 years old, she did it two years faster than the previous record-holder, Mark Zuckerberg. Most of Kylie’s money comes from Kylie Cosmetics, which she launched four years ago.  The business is now worth more than $900 million, and she owns 100% of it. Naturally, everyone is once again mocking “Forbes” for calling Kylie “self-made.”  She wasn’t exactly an unknown teenager in Nebraska with a dream. She started her career pretty much on top thanks to her regular appearances on her family’s reality shows, beginning when she was 10.  People started buying her lip-kits because of who SHE was, not because of what the PRODUCT was.

Shaquille O’Neal is 47.

Luke Combs is really excited to be touring again.  The “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” kicked off last weekend in Milwaukee and will end in Houston, Texas in August.  Luke sat down with “Country Living” to talk about it, and it seems like he’s just as excited to be touring again as we are…

“Time” magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2024 include Dua Lipa, Patrick Mahomes, and Michael J. Fox.
