LUKE COMBS has set a new “Billboard” record by having his FIRST five singles reach Number One on the Country Airplay chart. It all started with “Hurricane” back in 2017. That was followed-up by “When It Rains It Pours”, “One Number Away”, “She Got the Best of Me” . . . and “Beautiful Crazy”, which is there right now. He passed some big names along the way.  Brooks & Dunn and Florida Georgia Line each started their careers with four #1 singles in a row.

 

KIP MOORE’s Audience Network concert special airs this Friday on Direct TV and AT&T. (It was recorded in L.A. back in November.)  They released a promo from the show where he says, “I told myself a long time ago [that] if I stayed authentic to my soul, that was the only way I was going to be able to lay my head on my pillow at night.  I knew I had to truly dedicate myself to that. “I was okay with failing and doing it my way, but I’m not okay with failing and listening to somebody else tell me how to do it.”

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi premiered more than 13 months ago and in that time college student David Hall recreated the Battle of Crait using LEGO. His model includes the towering First Order Heavy Assault Walkers, the cracked salt layer covering the planet’s red soil and even spacecraft suspended by transparent blocks to give the illusion of flying.

 

Cadbury is retiring the “Clucking Bunny” after 35 years and is giving a lucky pet the chance to star in a new version of the ad. The candy company has opened up Bunny Tryouts and even enlisted the help of Doug the Pug to judge auditions.  The auditions are open to all animals and all that’s needed to audition is a picture of the pet wearing bunny ears – no clucking required.  Twenty semi-finalists will be selected, from which one grand prize winner will be chosen.
