Miranda hit up Instagram on Saturday with the news that she secretly married a New York City cop named Brendan McLoughlin. She wrote, “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched. My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for . . . me.” She included a couple of photos. In one they’re all smiles and hugging, and in the other they’re doing the bride and groom face-to-face thing.
The NFL has settled with COLIN KAEPERNICK, over his accusation that the league colluded to keep him out. He hasn’t played for two years, after he began kneeling to protest police brutality and social injustice. The terms of the settlement are confidential, but it sounds like the league coughed up a TON of money. Early reports say it’s between $60 million and $80 million – TMZ claims it’s closer to $100 MILLION. Colin’s lawyer said he “absolutely wants to play” in the NFL again.
Jennifer Aniston was headed to Cabo today for a birthday trip, but her private jet experienced an issue while in the air and had to turn back. The 50-year-old actress was with friends including Courteney Cox and Molly Kimmel. The FAA says the plane lost a wheel or tire while departing from LAX.
KATY PERRY and ORLANDO BLOOM are officially engaged. They both posted a picture of Katy’s flower-shaped ruby engagement ring. Katy wrote, “full bloom” on hers, and Orlando wrote “lifetimes” on his. Orlando surprised Katy by popping the question during a Valentine’s dinner. He had also arranged a surprise engagement party after dinner at a penthouse in L.A., with about 30 friends – plus Katy’s parents. Now, it has been pointed out that Katy’s ring has a very similar design to the one Orlando gave his ex-wife MIRANDA KERR. It could be worth $5 million or more.
