Former FLEETWOOD MAC guitarist LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM had emergency open heart surgery last week. His wife said, “He’s now recuperating at home, and each day he is stronger than the last.  While he and his heart are doing well, the surgery resulted in vocal cord damage.” She added, “If anyone is experiencing even the mildest of symptoms, we encourage you to seek the care of a physician.” Meanwhile, NEAL SCHON from JOURNEY had his gallbladder removed.  He’s apparently had this for the last three-and-a-half years, and didn’t know it!  I thought it was parasites.  I’m feeling better than ever.”

 

Lifetime has announced that Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal will be the sequel to Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. The new movie will be “pulling back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the royal family.”  The royal couple’s one-year anniversary will be May 19 and Markle is expected to give birth within the next few months.

 

Michelle Obama kicked off the 2019 Grammy Awards with a bang. The former first lady made a surprise appearance, appearing alongside Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jennifer Lopez during host Alicia Keys’ opening remarks. Obama barely got three words into her speech celebrating the power of music before the audience erupted into an applause, greeting her with a standing ovation.

ALBERT FINNEY has died at the age of 82. He was nominated for five Oscars, including one for playing JULIA ROBERTS’ boss in “Erin Brockovich”.  He was also in two of the “Bourne” movies, the 1982 version of “Annie”, and the 1974 adaptation of “Murder on the Orient Express”.

 

BOB COSTAS is admitting that he was dropped from NBC’s coverage of last year’s Super Bowl because he’d said that concussions in football are, “destroying people’s brains.” Last year, Bob insisted the decision was mutual, because he’s, “long had ambivalent feelings about football.” And while that’s true, he WAS scheduled to be a part of the Super Bowl coverage. But ultimately, he wouldn’t apologize for speaking out about concussions and it put a strain on his 40-year relationship with NBC Sports, which culminated in him walking away last year. After that comment, Bob said he got a text from the NBC Sports producer which said that he’d “crossed a line.”

“The Lego Movie 2” won the box office this weekend with $34.4 million. “What Men Want”, and Liam Neeson’s “Cold Pursuit” debuted in second and third, respectively.

 

There’s a “MacGruber” TV series being pitched, and the whole cast is on board. That includes Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe, Maya Rudolph, and even Val Kilmer,

 

BEBE REXHA stopped her performance at a pre-Grammy event last week so she could yell at the crowd for not singing along to “Meant to Be”, the song she does with FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE. Somebody got it on video and it’s about 50 seconds of ranting and swearing.

 

TYLER HUBBARD and his wife Hayley are expecting their second child. He revealed the news by kissing her belly on the red carpet at an event on Saturday. Tyler and Hayley are both 32.

 

BROTHERS OSBORNE have noticed a difference at their concerts. It used to be the crowd would only sing the lyrics to a couple of songs, but now they know the deep cuts. JOHN OSBORNE says, ”We’ve found our people and our people are finding us.  “I mean, there were always shows that we had a good response, but there were also shows that we worked up to one singular moment when we would know we had the crowd in our hands.  Now, we have crowds that are hollering out songs from our EP.”

 

After flipping his SUV last month, Britain’s PRINCE PHILIP has voluntarily surrendered his driver’s license.

 

The “Fiji Water Girl” is full of herself and, instead of turning on the company that made her famous, she should have just enjoyed it and honored her contract … that’s how Fiji sees it. Fiji filed a counter lawsuit Friday against model Kelleth Cuthbert saying she’s “bitten the hand that feeds her” and attempted to extort the company for half a million dollars. Cuthbert became a viral sensation after photobombing every celeb at the Golden Globes, and her likeness was later used on cardboard cutouts at various stores to promote the water. She sued, claiming she never gave Fiji her permission for that campaign. According to Fiji docs, it had a valid deal with Kelleth to be a brand ambassador for $90k, and claims it included using her likeness for its related ad campaign. The company also says it has video and photo proof of Cuthbert signing her contract, which she claimed she never did. Fiji’s asking for Kelly’s suit to be dismissed, and wants damages for its canceled cutout campaign. update — Kelleth’s lawyersays, “Kelleth will not be bullied by Fiji Water, the Wonderful Company, or its billionaire owners. She is legally entitled to damages and profits from the use of her image. Fiji Water’s complaint is meritless and Kelleth is confident she will prevail in court.”
