Amazon CEO JEFF BEZOS and his wife MacKenzie are getting divorced after 25 years of marriage. Jeff is by far the richest man in the world, worth over $136 BILLION. Most of that is tied up in Amazon stock. If MacKenzie gets even HALF her husband’s fortune, she’ll be the 5th richest person in the world, and by far the richest WOMAN in the world – worth more than Facebook founder MARK ZUCKERBERG. If Jeff and MacKenzie settle amicably and without the aid of the courts – which is what it sounds like will happen – we’ll probably never know the terms. When they announced their divorce yesterday, they talked about remaining friends and partners, and said, “If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again.”
According to the “Hollywood Reporter”, SAMUEL L. JACKSON pulls down eight figures a year just for those Capital One commercials he does.
For the first time in almost 30 years, the Oscars will air without a host. The producers are apparently planning for a group of A-listers to introduce various segments throughout the night.

BRIAN KELLEY and his wife Brittney revealed to “People” that they renewed their vows back in December. They did it while celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary. “People” asked Brian how marriage has changed him, and he said, “We really enjoy baths together. She got me into taking baths and that’s one of our favorite things.”

BRAD PAISLEY released another video for his song “Bucked Off”. This one features real breakup clips that he asked his fans to submit, although most of them look staged. The tie-in being that a breakup is like getting bucked off at the rodeo. There’s also footage of a show he did at Tootsie’s in Nashville.
BRANTLEY GILBERT went from a gruff, biker dude to a gentle soul who cries just talking about his one-year-old son Barrett. He’s not ashamed of it and admits it totally influenced his next album. There’s one song in particular that came to him soon after the birth. “I wrote a song [while] we were in the hospital room with him. It’s one of those things that it’s something I don’t think God made words for . . .”So writing a song about it is harder than I ever thought it would be but [I’m] really proud of it.” He says he’s so deep into that family place that he might have to dip into his memory vault for future albums. “After this record here, we’re probably going to have to reminisce a good bit on records because nobody wants to hear a whole [album] about washing clothes and taking care of a baby.” The new album, but it’ll be out sometime this year.
According to the autopsy report, ERIC CHURCH’s brother Brandon died as a result of chronic alcoholism. He passed away last summer at the age of 36.
Woodstock is celebrating its 50th anniversary this summer, and there WILL be an anniversary ‘Woodstock 50’ this August. A three-day anniversary festival is coming to Watkins Glen, New York on August 16th, 17th and 18th. The original concert happened on the weekend of August 15th in 1969. Supposedly they have more than 40 acts booked, but no performers will be announced until tickets go on sale next month. It’ll be hip-hop and rock and some pop and some of the legacy bands from the original festival. Organizers want to bring Woodstock back to its roots with the ACTIVISM that was a big part of the original. They expect to sell 100,000 three-day passes. Watkins Glen, New York is less than 150 miles from Bethel, where the original festival was held. And that site is ALSO holding an anniversary concert that same weekend. That Bethel site has been transformed into a concert venue with a capacity of 15,000 seats.
Ashley Judd’s legal battle against Harvey Weinstein came to a bit of a crossroads yesterday. A US District Judge Philip dismissed her sexual harassment case against Weinstein, stating in the ruling that Judd’s legal team had “not adequately alleged that her relationship with Defendant was covered by the statute.” But he did rule that Judd could move forward with her defamation case against Weinstein, in which she claims he derailed her career after she denied his alleged sexual advances in the 1990s.
