BRETT ELDREDGE hit up social media last week to issue a “Flip-Phone Challenge.” He’s switching from a smart phone to a flip-phone because he wants to “stay in the moment.” He wrote that he’s going to go back in time to 2002 when he got his first color flip-phone.  “I would carry it everywhere I went but never look at it to check the never ending ‘Breaking News’ or constantly compare my life to someone else’s.” He was tired of being at dinner with friends and finding himself “halfway paying attention” to conversations.  Instead of talking or listening he’d be on his phone watching videos of people doing a triple backflip or chugging a bottle of vodka.

The New Year is a time for new beginnings. But 2019 is also a year of ENDINGS.  Here are some of the movie and TV finales coming your way in the next 365 days . . .

Spin-offs are coming.

He may even help Dierks’ daughters Evie and Jordan work on their cowboy skills again. “I love being on tour with Dierks.  He’s awesome.  His little girls are always, ‘Hey, Jooooonnnn!’  They’re always excited to see me, which is super cute.  They tried roping again.  I brought the dummy out there for them, and it was a lot of fun.”

Somebody stole CHRIS JANSON’s guitar, and he wants it back. He hit up social media to say, “Over the holiday break, my custom Fender guitar was stolen out of the car, after playing the Opry.  If anyone sees or hears about it, please notify local police and me.  Thanks y’all.”

Tina Fey wrote the movie Mean Girls back in 2004 and since then the franchise has been turned into a Broadway musical. Now, two of the movie’s stars have reunited.  Lindsay Lohan, who played Cady Heron, and Jonathon Bennett, who played her love interest Aaron Samuels had a mini-reunion of sorts.  Lohan posted a photo of the two with the caption, “Quick, someone check the calendar.  October 3rd came early this year!!!”  October 3 has been dubbed “Mean Girls Day”.
