Someone got into Miley Cyrus’ storage unit in the San Fernando Valley and made off with some valuable guitars. More than $10,000 worth. It’s unclear how the thieves got into the unit, but the heist nearly went unnoticed. Miley initially thought someone in the family had borrowed them. She didn’t realize they were actually stolen until yesterday. She’s had a rough go of it, lately. Miley and Liam Hemsworth’s Malibu home was devastated in last month’s Woolsey fire.

With traditional TV, commercial breaks are when you get up to grab some chips or hit the bathroom. With streaming, that dynamic is being changing so that whenever you pause to grab some chips or hit the bathroom, they’re going to sneak in commercials. Hulu is going to start experimenting with that model in the New Year and so is AT&T, which owns DirecTV and U-verse. We’re probably not talking about full 30- or 60-second ads, just something that can catch your eye quickly. On the surface, it’s frustrating to think of having more ads. But at the same time, these “pause ads” seem pretty non-invasive. And theoretically, they can help keep subscription costs down.

The National Transportation Safety Board has determined that pilot error was partly to blame for the helicopter crash that killed TROY GENTRY back in 2017. Although there was a throttle malfunction, the chopper still could have landed safely. Investigators say the pilot cut the engine too soon during the emergency landing and that led to an uncontrolled descent.
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is issuing a warning to fans who may be bidding on a lightsaber used in filming the original movie. Hamil said, “Be Advised – There was no ONE light saber I used in the films, but many MANY, both for myself & my stunt-double … When the handle ridges were cutting my hands, they even made a few w/ soft sponge ridges! The lightsaber is expected to go for about $150,000.
