A few months back, “Forbes” released a list of ‘The 100 Highest-Paid Entertainers.’ Now, a new survey asked more than 6,600 Americans to tell them what they thought of each . . . whether their opinion was favorable, unfavorable, or neither. Here’s the Top 5:
- The Rock . . . 82% had a favorable opinion of him, 6% unfavorable.
- Jackie Chan . . . 76% favorable, 6% unfavorable.
- Will Smith . . . 77% favorable, 11% unfavorable.
- Paul McCartney . . . 68% favorable, 8% unfavorable.
- Adam Sandler . . . 71% favorable, 13% unfavorable.
CANELO ALVAREZ just signed the biggest deal in the history of sports. It’s worth $365 MILLION. Canelo has got a record of 50 wins, one loss, and two draws. That loss came at the hands of FLOYD MAYWEATHER in 2013, and Canelo says he wants a rematch.

GARTH BROOKS held a press conference yesterday to announce he’ll be doing a multi-year stadium tour. It’s looking like 10 to 12 cities each year for three years. No dates yet. His wife Trisha Yearwood will NOT be opening, but “might turn up occasionally as a surprise guest.” He’s planning to bring some younger acts that are ready to make the move to larger arenas.
CAROLL SPINNEY is retiring from “Sesame Street”. He has played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch since Day One, in 1969. He’s 84 years old.
