ROGER DALTREY of THE WHO says that sometime in his 50s, he realized he didn’t have FIVE kids . . . he had EIGHT. Apparently, they were all born after his divorce from first wife Jackie Rickman in 1968, and before his marriage to Heather Taylor in 1971. All of them were put up for adoption. He said, “They all came into my life after my 50th birthday.  It was great . . . it’s all worked out.  They stay in touch and they’re close . . . Vice News aired a new interview with ROSEANNE BARR last night . . . the same night “The Conners” debuted . . . and she seemed genuinely devastated about losing her show. Roseanne said that ABC taking away her show, and allowing it to continue with “other people writing her life story” was, “the worst thing they could’ve possibly done to me.” She said she’s no longer in touch with anyone on the show . . . and that she’s basically just doing NOTHING now. She talked about how she’s spending a lot of time “getting her pictures and files in order,” “waiting in lines,” going out for ice cream with her mom, and sleeping 17 hours a day. She also started smoking.  And she reiterated that she won’t watch “The Conners” . . . she just wants to move on.

For generations of Americans with young daughters, Disney Princesses have been friends, role models, and babysitters. But KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has a 3-year-old daughter, and she won’t let her watch some of those movies, because of the messages they send. “Cinderella” is one of them.  On “Ellen” yesterday, Keira said, “She waits around for a rich guy to rescue her.  Don’t.” Keira is conflicted about “The Little Mermaid”, because she LOVES it, but she doesn’t want her daughter to watch it.  “The songs are great, but do not give your voice up for a man!  Hello? “So that one’s a little tricky one, but I’m keeping to it.” But Ellen was happy to hear that Dory, her character from “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory”, is mom-approved.

LADY GAGA thanked her “fiancé”, Christian Carino, during a Women in Hollywood event Monday night. She was also wearing a ring.  But there’s been no official word on an engagement.
