The divorce is final, BEN AFFLECK is sober, and JENNIFER GARNER is dating again. A source says, “Jen doesn’t want to be single for the rest of her life, so she is open to dating. “She has been on dates, but it seems she isn’t serious about a guy. As always, she is mostly focused on her kids and her job.” On a related note, you’ve probably heard by now that Ben has broken up with “Playboy” model SHAUNA SEXTON.  But a source says it wasn’t a big deal because it was casual to begin with.

Even OPRAH has scared herself by Googling for medical advice. She says her lymph nodes were swollen recently, and the Internet made her think she had cancer.  But it was just a minor problem with her salivary gland.

PAUL MCCARTNEY’s new video for “Come On to Me” is just a chubby mall security guard dancing.

It’s a holiday tradition, somehow: Every winter Netflix releases a bizarre Christmas movie starring a legend. Last year it was Pottersville, in which two-time Oscar nominee Michael Shannon played a small town man who got drunk on moonshine and pretended to be Bigfoot. This year, Netflix has The Christmas Chronicles, in which Kurt Russell plays a salty St. Nick trapped in Chicago with a broken sleigh.

Apparently, everyone with a mic in their hands at the AMAs wanted to hear what the country artists thought of Taylor Swift suddenly getting political. If they were hoping for controversy, they were disappointed.

THOMAS RHETT said it’s great that she’s “using her platform to stand up for something she believes in.”

KELSEA BALLERINI had a similar take, saying, “I think it’s cool and that’s what she feels is important because she has a big ol’ platform, so it’s awesome.”

The Party in the Pines Festival has been canceled. The lineup included Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, Kip Moore, and Luke Combs, and it was supposed to happened October 19th and 20th in White Springs, Florida.  They’re blaming it on “circumstances beyond our control.”

GEORGE STRAIT has added 2 more dates to his Strait to Vegas run. He’ll be performing at the T-Mobile Arena on February 1st and 2nd.  ASHLEY MCBRYDE is the opener.

KANE BROWN is having a heck of a year – three wins at Tuesday’s AMAs. He made history by being the most-awarded country star who had never won a single AMA before. And he’s about to get another bump on November 2nd, which is when the short film, “Apple Music Presents: Kane Brown – Experiment” will premiere.  It follows his transition from being a YouTube performer to a country star . . . and looks at the struggles he faced for NOT having a traditional country sound or look. Here are some highlights:

On his style: “They look at my tattoos, and my style that I wear my clothes, and it’s always, ‘Oh, Waylon [Jennings] and [Johnny] Cash are rolling in their graves right now.’  Some people say I’m not country, but they don’t really know how I grew up.”

On growing up mixed-race: “I went through a lot being called the N-word, and running for my life thinking I was going to get killed.”

On how he doesn’t fit into a country stereotype: “They have a picture of what they think country should look like.  To me, I just want to make my own lane.”

On discovering his own sound: “When I first started everybody asked me what my sound was and I didn’t know what to say.  But now if you ask me, I’d be like, ‘I’m Kane Brown.'”  (You can listen to these quotes from the promo clip, here.)

All of this is tied into the release of Kane’s new album, “Experiment”, which drops November 9th. And when all of this finally dies down he’ll be getting married and taking some well-deserved time off.
