KELSEA BALLERINI is the newest coach on “The Voice” . . . but she’s not replacing anyone. She’s coaching a brand new online phase called The Comeback Stage. She’ll personally select SIX performers who did NOT turn a chair during the blind auditions. She’ll coach them as they compete against each other . . . two at a time . . . and then she’ll pick one winner from each. Those three will advance to the Comeback Stage Finals, and she’ll choose two from that. And then those two will compete on the Live Playoffs Results show, which will air November 13th. That winner will move on to the regular competition. The Comeback Stage will air on YouTube, Instagram TV, “The Voice” Official App, Facebook, and NBC.com. It’ll debut on September 24th . . . the same day that the new season of “The Voice” debuts on NBC.
Former Disney star DAVID HENRIE was arrested yesterday after bringing a LOADED GUN to the L.A. airport. The gun was discovered when he was going through security. David later apologized on social media, saying, “I take responsibility . . . I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun, which is registered in my name, to the airport . . . I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened.” David is best known for playing Selena Gomez’s brother Justin on “Wizards of Waverly Place”, and Ted’s future son Luke on “How I Met Your Mother”. He’s 29 now.
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has revealed that he and his wife, Lauren, have sadly lost their second baby. The 38year old, wrote. “I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. . I’m heart broken.” The couple — who have a 2-year-old son, Odin — had been expecting a little girl. The sad news came just hours before Carter was set to take the stage in Lima, Peru, on the final date of his South American solo tour. While he initially contemplated canceling the concert, he decided to go ahead with the gig for the sake of his loyal fans.
Lady Gaga was moved to tears at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival after she was praised for her performance in A Star Is Born. Gaga, 32, was with the film’s director and costar Bradley Cooper as well as other cast members.
Denise Richards is a newly-married woman and the folks at American Express got her a present … in the form of a brand new lawsuit! The credit card company claims the newest “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star owes them $20,307.73. The docs don’t give specifics about Richards’ charges except to say they occurred within the last four years. The account was canceled in June.
Casey Affleck is staying positive about his brother’s path to sobriety. He addressed his brother Ben Affleck’s health and recovery. “He’s doing great,” Casey, 43, shared. “He’s in rehab and he’s recovering and seems to be doing well.” Ben entered rehab on Aug. 22.
The fifth season finale of “Bachelor in Paradise” at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. In the 2-hour finale, the couples spend their final moments in Mexico and the cast reunites.
