EVA LONGORIA gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday in Los Angeles. His name is Santiago.  Eva is 43 and this is her first child . . . but her husband Jose Baston has three others from a previous marriage. She and Jose have been married since 2016.  He’s the president of the Latin American media company Televisa. He’s her third husband.

Chicago Cubs closer BRANDON MORROW hurt himself taking off his PANTS. He was just undressing at his house at like 3:00 A.M. Just in the closet, got the right leg off.  Left one, just felt like a spasm in his back. Morrow is headed to the Disabled List, but he isn’t sure how long he’ll be sidelined.  He said, “It’s frustrating any time you can’t get out there, and especially when you can’t go because it’s something like taking your pants off.”

A Philadelphia Phillies fan named Kathy McVay went to a game against the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, and she got hit right between the eyes by a FLYING HOT DOG that was shot out of a hot dog cannon by the Phillie Phanatic mascot. Kathy says, “It just came out of nowhere . . . and hard. He shot it in our direction, and BAM.  It hit me like a ton of bricks.” The blow messed up her face pretty good, so she went to the hospital to get checked out.  She says she’s okay, other than a “small hematoma” in her eye. She isn’t considering legal action . . . but she wants fans to be aware of how dangerous flying hot dogs can be.  The Phillies have apologized, and offered her free tickets when she’s ready to come back.

ABC has a show coming out in August called “Castaway”, and it sounds like a cross between “Survivor” and “Lost”. Contestants will try to survive on a string of Indonesian islets, and the action will be mixed with flashbacks of the contestants’ lives before they left for the show.

Even though he played a bartender on “Cheers”, TED DANSON hated getting back behind the bar for an episode of “The Good Place”. He says, “I seriously have anxiety stepping behind a bar.  It was a great scene, but I was so uncomfortable.”

TIM MCGRAW and FAITH HILL talked to “People” magazine about their 21 years of marital bliss. One thing that stands out is how much they appreciate each other’s talent. Tim says, “It’s such a rare thing to experience what we do for a living, and to do it together.  It feels like all the moments are special . . . I could listen to her sing all night.  She’s such a powerhouse that it forces me to raise my game every night.” She’s still amazed at his skills.  “Tim’s the absolute best entertainer, hands down.  He can bring a crowd to their feet with the motion of his hand.  He knows how to deliver songs to the fans and make them feel like he’s singing to them.” They also connect on a spiritual level.  They share a “quick, quiet moment” praying together before hitting the stage every night .And then there’s the comfort of simply being together. Tim says, “As we get older it’s less about the big gestures and more about just spending the time together at home.  For our 20th wedding anniversary we stayed home in our pajamas and watched TV.  We loved it.”

If it were up to KELSEA BALLERINI, the world would know that country music is complex and real. “Country has this stigma still of like, ‘It’s all about the fiddle and the truck.’ Obviously, that’s still in the roots. But it’s about the story, and it’s about the emotions of the human heart.  Not necessarily the clichés of beer, truck, dog, cheating.” She’s also a little annoyed with the idea that female country stars try to compete against each other.  “I’m constantly seeing articles about ‘Who’s your country queen’ . . . and it makes all of us feel like there’s only one spot. So there’s this weird, negative, competitive energy in the room.  That makes you feel awkward, and like you can’t be their friend.”

PAUL MCCARTNEY released two new songs yesterday, and announced that a new album called “Egypt Station” is coming September 7th.

KEITH URBAN convinced his audience to help sing “Happy Birthday” to his wife NICOLE KIDMAN . . . who turned 51 yesterday. Nicole posted the clip on her Instagram and wrote, “What a gift.  My husband and everyone at [Country USA Festival] in Oshkosh, Wisconsin singing me Happy Birthday.”

JUSTIN MOORE loves the response he’s been getting to his song, “Kinda Don’t Care”. “It’s super traditional, super honky-tonk, especially coming off of our last single, ‘Somebody Else Will’ . . . because that was a little different.

DUSTIN LYNCH enjoys surfing, but he’s not in the same league as BILLY CURRINGTON. He says, “I like to surf.  I rarely get to do it.  I’m terrible at it, but I live vicariously through others who can surf a lot.  Billy’s been killing it on the surf game recently, so I’ve been following [him] closely.”
