FRAN DRESCHER is suggesting that a revival of “The Nanny” could be announced soon. If it happens, she says it’ll “have a whole fresh bend to it.”

Two of the hottest selling shows on Broadway are based on Harry Potter and SpongeBob Squarepants. Now comes word that they’re working on a musical about Michael Jackson. His estate is involved, so they’ll be using his music, too.  It’s expected to debut sometimes in 2020.

MIRANDA LAMBERT said that the tabloids are NOT the place to go if you’re looking for details about her love life. “They make up so many lies, no one can know the truth.” Ironically, the facts ARE out there . . . and they’re pretty easy to find. “The truth is, it’s in my music if you listen close enough.” But there’s another part of the interview that really speaks to who Miranda is.  She was compared to the DIXIE CHICKS because they’ve both been role models . . . at different times . . . for impressionable young girls. It’s something that makes her kind of uncomfortable because when she writes songs, she refuses to hold back.  “I didn’t sign up for that.  That’s a lot of pressure.  I am who I am.  I’m honest about being flawed.  That’s all I can be, you know?  I cuss.  I drink.  I get divorced and get my heart broken.  I break hearts.”

LEANN RIMES’ new EP “Re-Imagined” is out today. It features  “unique spins” on some of her best-known songs, like “Blue”, “How Do I Live”, and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight”. And if you still need a reason to get excited about it, this should work.  STEVIE NICKS joins her on the track “Borrowed”.  You can listen to their version at RollingStone.com.  The cool thing is that duet happened because of Stevie.  She heard LeAnn sing it on “The Tonight Show” back in 2013, and it blew her away.  “I stopped in my tracks and sat down on the floor and started to cry.  I understood what she was singing about.  I understood that the pain was real . . . and I understood that it had happened to me.

PAUL MCCARTNEY is releasing two new tracks today ——- ‘I Don’t Know’/’Come On to Me’

BRETT YOUNG says he’s recorded nine songs for his second album . . . and has three more tracks to go before it’s finished. He’s super excited and can’t wait to get it done.   Unfortunately, no word yet on a release date.
