A private jet owned by Elvis Presley and his father, Vernon, is on the auction block once again. The current owner bought the plane last year for $430,000.  The King designed the interior that has gold-tone woodwork, red velvet seats and red shag carpet.  The 1962 Lockheed Jetstar needs an engine and a cockpit restoration.  The plane has been sitting for 36 years on a tarmac in Roswell, New Mexico.

HEATHER LOCKLEAR is struggling once again. She was hospitalized yesterday for a psych evaluation after threatening to shoot herself. Her parents went to her house because she was acting “agitated.”  But she got violent – choking her mother, and hitting her father.  That’s when her mother called the police. Heather didn’t actually have a gun when she threatened to kill herself, but she was reportedly “trying to find” one. Heather was arrested in February for felony domestic violence against her boyfriend.  During the arrest, she allegedly threatened to shoot officers if they ever returned to her home.  In March, she was back in rehab. Heather has been dealing with mental issues as well as drug and alcohol addiction off-and-on for a decade. In 2008, someone else called 911 on her behalf, claiming she was suicidal. “People” magazine says her friends and family believe she needs MORE than rehab . . . she needs to have her underlying mental issues diagnosed and treated.

LUKE BRYAN was talking about how security has changed since the Route 91 tragedy. At the CMTs he couldn’t improvise and go mix it up with some fans who were hanging out across the street. “I used to run and high five the whole dstreet.  That was prior to this new crazy world we’re living in.  And guys that are advising me on security stuff . . . they’re like ‘We just don’t like you running, we don’t know what’s across there.’ “You just can’t go love and hug-on fans like you used to.” He talked about a protocol that’s now in place in case something terrible happens.  If he hears a specific word in his monitors, that means he needs to hightail it out of there.

Yesterday was BLAKE SHELTON’s 42nd birthday and he got a cake that looked just like the thing he loves the most. A cake that looked exactly like a bottle of Smithworks Vodka, which is the brand that he has a stake in. He posted a clip of himself holding the cake and saying, “Thank you Smithworks family, it’s the best birthday cake ever.”  And then he took a massive bite out of the “cap.”

Would you watch a BIG & RICH reality show? There’s one in the works and it also stars COWBOY TROY.  It’s called “Living Big & Rich”. JOHN RICH talked about it during an interview with Taste Of Country. “We’re actually working on a TV series right now and MARK WAHLBERG is our executive director so it’s pretty cool.”  They’ve been shooting the pilot and hope to have it ready in the fall.  No word on where it will air.

EASTON CORBIN is doing six free shows at Air Force bases around the Fourth of July holiday. He says, “What a huge honor it is to be able to spend my Independence holiday week going to all of these Air Force bases to say thank you and perform some songs.”

MIDLAND announced the dates of their Electric Rodeo Tour. The shows are in the fall and they’ll coincide with their other road dates.  There’s also a good chance that more shows will be announced. November 8 — Washington, D.C. @ 9:30 Club —- November 9 — Asbury Park, NJ @ The Stone Pony

Disney’s animated movies aren’t exactly realistic . . . and you do have to suspend disbelief when you watch them. A list of the ‘Seven Biggest Plot Holes in Classic Disney Movies’ is making the rounds online.

  1. “The Little Mermaid”, where Ariel FORGETS how to write. She isn’t able to TALK to Prince Eric because of the deal she struck to give up her voice – but why can’t she write stuff down?  She proved she could read and write when she signed Ursula’s contract in the first place. Also, Ariel seems perfectly fine with Eric eating a crab, which is a little disturbing since she was FRIENDS with a crab.
  2. “Beauty and the Beast”, where Beast’s age is unclear. When he was a HUMAN prince, he was around 11 when the witch put the curse on him. We learn that the last petal on the enchanted rose will fall on his 21st birthday, and he’s been under the spell for about 10 years. But in the portrait of him pre-Beast, he doesn’t look like an 11-year-old boy.  He looks like he’s in his 20s. And what happened to Chip’s brothers and sisters?  They were nowhere to be found when Chip and his mom Mrs. Potts turned back into humans.
  3. “Cinderella” – Why didn’t the glass slippers disappear like everything else after midnight? Both of them conveniently remained intact. Also, why did one of the slippers fall off if they’re supposed to fit perfectly? And is there really only one girl in the whole village who has her shoe size?
  4. “Toy Story” . . . Where has Woody been all this time? “Toy Story 2” reveals that he was actually a piece of tie-in merchandise from the fictional 1950s children’s TV show, “Woody’s Roundup”, and was a rare collector’s item. So, what was a young boy in the mid-’90s doing with a 40-year-old toy? Woody never mentions any previous owners, despite the numerous times in the movies when that information would’ve been very relevant to come out.
  5. “Aladdin” . . . Is he a prince or not? Although Aladdin had already been given the status of ‘Prince’ by the Genie in order to marry Jasmine . . . everyone seems to have forgotten that he’s no longer a “street rat” at the end of the movie. Does this mean the Genie didn’t actually make him a REAL Prince? Or did Jafar’s meddling somehow undo all of that?  And Aladdin should just have given the lamp to Jasmine and then she could’ve wished him to be a Prince.  Plus, had two other wishes to blow.
  6. “101 Dalmatians” . . .Roger and Anita get the money to buy a house in the country and keep the dogs . . . but still, having all of them would surely bankrupt them.
  7. “The Lion King”. Why didn’t Scar just kill Simba when he had the chance? He had no problem killing Mufasa.

A “Star Wars” fan site says that BILLY DEE WILLIAMS will return as Lando in “Star Wars: Episode 9”. But there’s nothing more concrete than that at the moment.

“America’s Got Talent” auditions at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.

Paula Abdul is 56

Phylicia Rashad is 70.

Jimmy Kimmel had Chris Stapleton on his show and he absolutely killed it on their “Wing It and Sing It” segment.  Jimmy explained that Chris used to love the show “Full House”, specifically John Stamos.
