Netflix’s deal to carry Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown in the US was due to expire this Saturday, but the service has extended its arrangement to keep the food and travel show available “for months to come.”
Contrary what the internet was saying yesterday – ANGELINA JOLIE is NOT losing her kids. BRAD PITT and Angelina are in a bit of a custody battle, because Brad allegedly believes she’s alienating the kids from him. And now, a court has ordered Angelina to take steps to improve the kids’ relationship with Brad . . . and if she doesn’t, she could lose primary custody. The court says Brad should get a summer visitation schedule, and easy phone access for calls and texts between him and each of the kids, without monitoring or interference. Supposedly, Angelina has agreed to this.
MARTINA MCBRIDE and her husband John are being sued for $1 million by ex-employee, Richard Hanson who ran their intern program. He claims they fired him after he reported them for NOT paying interns. He says Martina and John forced the interns to do menial stuff like clean bathrooms, deliver food, and set up and tear down equipment. But the worst is when John gave a couple of interns a loaded gun and sent them to his house to check for an intruder. He thought that kind of work deserved a paycheck, so he kept asking them to give the interns minimum wage, but they kept refusing. So, he filed a claim last year with the Department of Labor – and says he was fired in retaliation. He’s suing for $1 million and other damages. Martina and her husband but they haven’t responded.
CHRIS YOUNG did Taste of Country’s “Last Question” segment, and we learned that his favorite breakfast cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and his favorite late night snack is pizza. He admitted to being afraid of spiders, and when asked if he believes in aliens, he said, “Yeah, I do.” His celebrity crush is MARGOT ROBBIE.
JON PARDI has two good reasons for NOT getting super close to the fans while opening on LUKE BRYAN’s stadium tour. One is because Luke loves mixing it up with the crowd, so Jon will stay away to keep it fresh for the man. The other reason is because he’s almost six-foot-four inches tall and it can get uncomfortable. He says, “It’s a long way down for me . . . I’m super tall.”
JOHN SCHNEIDER was sentenced to three days for back child support . . . but they let him out in just over five hours. He still has 240 hours of community service, though.
WALKER HAYES posted a photo of his wife in honor of their anniversary. He captioned it, “I love this picture of Laney the most. I hope all of our kids find someone they could stare at forever . . . and feel like I do when I look at this. Happy 14th anniversary to us.” It has to be a bittersweet anniversary for Walker and Laney who recently lost their baby.
