The Simpsons is now in its 29th season and back in 2010, the show predicted the U.S. defeating Sweden in curling for Olympic gold. The episode titled “Boy Meets Curl” originally aired February 14, 2010 and pairs Homer and Marge Simpson with Agnes and Seymour Skinner on a mixed curling team.  Marge becomes the team’s standout and the team defeats Sweden.


Sunday night HEATHER LOCKLEAR was arrested for attacking her boyfriend. One source says she almost bit off the tip of his nose.  But whatever she did, it left some kind of “visible mark”, so they tried to arrest her.  She became “combative”.  She punched a female cop and a male cop, then kicked another male officer in the groin.  They had to actually force her into a police car. Heather was charged with one felony count of domestic battery, and three misdemeanor charges of battery on a peace officer. She was released yesterday morning after posting $20,000 bail. Heather’s boyfriend was arrested just a few hours later for DRIVING DRUNK.  They had been high school sweethearts who had started dating again.


BILL COSBY’s daughter Ensa has passed away from kidney disease. She was only 44.  This is the second of Cosby’s five children who’ve died.  His son Ennis was murdered during a failed robbery attempt in 1997, when he was 27.


BRETT YOUNG announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Mills. They’ve known each other for ten years, and he proposed earlier this month. No wedding date but he says it’ll happen in Arizona, which is where they met.  “We are both more excited than we can express and looking forward to starting this chapter of our lives together.


BRANTLEY GILBERT has been very open about his past struggles with addiction. He is not ashamed to talk about it because that’s part of who he is . . . and it’s an important story for him to share. “My past is who I am.  [There] was a time when I was a person that I wasn’t so proud of.  But I made changes and I’m a fighter and I beat it, and I beat it every day.  And I don’t mind sharing that story.”


The live-action “Dora the Explorer” movie will come out in the summer of 2019.

REBA MCENTIRE will reveal some of this year’s ACM nominees on Thursday’s edition of “CBS This Morning”. After that, NANCY O’DELL will reveal additional nominations on the “Entertainment Tonight” website.  The ACMs are April 15th.


JUSTIN MOORE is five feet, six inches tall, so it’s only natural that he’d get challenged to play a game of H-O-R-S-E by six-foot, eight-inch Harlem Globetrotter star ZEUS MCCLURKIN. They were both in Trenton, New Jersey to do shows.


MAREN MORRIS and RYAN HURD are getting married March 24th. Ryan had his bachelor party over the weekend.  Nothing crazy, he and some friends did a fishing trip to Florida. Maren prepped a little more for the wedding by getting four wisdom teeth taken out.  She posted the news about that on Sunday.  And then yesterday she wrote this, “Day one, missing four of my wisest teeth.”
