Kendall, Becca, Tia, and Lauren B all return to the Bachelor mansion for another Rose Ceremony. They all take a moment to express their love for Arie and the fact that they want to marry him so hard and the three other women need to go away already. Arie shows up and whines to Chris Harrison about how hard this all is for him while the women all stand there in heels for three hours waiting for him to make up his mind. Arie decides that he can’t make up his mind without speaking to Kendall alone. Arie wants to know if Kendall is ready to be engaged at the end of the show. She is too analytical and logical and honest to pretend that she could get engaged to a a guy she has never been on a date with. She starts to cry and Arie takes her back inside. He hands a rose to Becca, tosses one to Lauren B. , and then Chris Harrison points out the obvious fact that there is only one rose left. Arie hands it to Kendall. Tia is devastated. Not as devastated as Arie will be when Tia’s dad finds him on the Google, though. (“If you hurt her I can find you on Google.” – Tia’s Dad)
On Sunday, AUSTIN DILLON won the Daytona 500 . . . and on Sunday night, he commemorated the day by getting a tattoo. It says “Daytona 500 Champ” . . . and it’s on his REAR END. He says, “You’ll never be able to see it. It’s a pretty cool-looking tattoo. [My wife] Whitney is probably the only one who’s going to see it for a while . . . “It hurt. It feels okay this morning, but one of my boys smacked me on the butt when I came over here, and I was like, ‘Easy, guys.'” Some of Austin’s crew members also celebrated with butt tattoos. There were 14 of them, although it’s unclear if they ALL got them in the same spot.
BRETT ELDREDGE wanted to honor his latest hit, “The Long Way”, so he took a few reporters on a tour of some of his favorite Nashville haunts . . . including places where he hung out when he first moved to town in 2006. One of those places is the notorious “pee plaque.” He did his share of bar hopping back in the day, and he often ended up relieving himself on the side of the Warner Music building. “I would stop and leave my mark every year on my territory.” Well, now he’s a client, so back in June, the Warner suits jokingly hung a plaque on that very spot to memorialize it. “People” did a feature on it last summer. Some of his other stops on the tour included the apartment where he once lived, the place where he wrote his hit “Mean to Me”, and the studio where he recorded it.
JORDAN DAVIS’s “Singles You Up” is making its way up the charts, so he was asked what it’s about. He said there’s no hidden meaning. If you see a girl you like, but she’s taken, go for it anyway.
JUSTIN THEROUX has pulled out of an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” tonight, most likely due to his personal life. Speaking of which . . . a British tabloid says JENNIFER ANISTON was particularly upset about a hug between Justin and NAOMI WATTS.
RASCAL FLATTS did a concert before the Daytona 500 on Sunday, and although the fans at the race seemed to like it, the people watching it on TV had a different take. And of course, many of them went online to share their thoughts. One person said “they sound completely awful and [are an] embarrassment.” Another asked, “Rascal Flatts aren’t this bad, are they?” One guy went with an old cliché, “Tune in just in time to catch Rascal Flatts sounding like a dying cat.” And then there were those who said it sounded “amazing.” In the band’s defense, the version of them doing “Yours If You Want It” that made it to YouTube sounds horrible. But they say the feed is terrible, and the sound is uneven. Whoever was put in charge of mixing it did a poor job.
