JENNIFER ANISTON and JUSTIN THEROUX have separated. They released a statement saying, “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.” They said they announced it to head off the gossip rags.  “Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.” Jennifer and Justin got engaged in August of 2012, and married in August of 2015.  So they were married a little over two years when they split up.  AND  Speaking of Jennifer, she was a guest at a wedding—  AMY SCHUMER got married Tuesday in Malibu.  Her new husband is a chef and author named Chris Fischer.

CHRIS JANSON is a happily married man, so during a radio interview he was asked how a single lady can find a solid guy like him. He started out with advice we’ve heard before.  Quote, “The minute you quit looking, is the minute you’ll find what you’re looking for.  You’ll search for many years, and you’ll wear yourself out.  The minute you quit looking, you’ll find the right one.”  And after you find that special guy you’re interested in . . . step back and wait.  Quote, “He should approach you if he’s a real man.  [He’ll] do all the work.  All you gotta do is just be classy.” And then after the first date . . . who calls who?  Quote, “You girls from the new school, you got it all wrong.  A man who is a real man . . . not a boy, not a child, not a man-child . . . will pursue you.  Period.”

DIERKS BENTLEY posted an amusing clip about his heartbreaking breakup with his mustache. He captioned it, “It’s the end of the road . . . for now.”

People tell CARLY PEARCE that she comes off as classy, but the truth is, she’s “redneck-y.” “I’m from Kentucky, so there’s definitely a redneck side to me. Grew up with family members that are interesting, and loving country music.  [And] I grew up on bluegrass.  It’s in my roots.  It’s in that Pearce name.”

DEVIN DAWSON has been dating a singer you’ve never heard of named Leah Sykes. On Wednesday he posted a photo of them together and wrote, “Believe it or not, I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a valentine on Valentine’s Day.”

Looks like BROTHERS OSBORNE will be cashing checks from the people who make Frye boots. They’re the faces of Frye’s new Hometown Pride campaign.  Here’s their heartfelt pitch, “Frye is a company deeply rooted in our country’s history.  Not to mention the undeniable style and quality.”

A posthumously-released song from Daryle Singletary is the subject of a legal drama that is unfolding in Nashville. Singletary died unexpectedly on Monday (Feb. 12) at the age of 46, leaving behind a wife, Holly, and four children. On Wednesday (Feb. 14), Platinum Records Nashville released a new song, “She’s Been Cheatin’ on Us,” online, representing the track as some of the last recorded work of his life. “We wanted radio and the world to hear the last recordings of Daryle Singletary,” Platinum Records head Greg Hudik said in a statement. “We’re working on a fund to 100 percent benefit the family from these last recordings.” In an email to Taste of Country on Thursday (Feb. 15), Singletary’s business partner, Chuck Rhodes, says the release of the song was not sanctioned by Singletary’s family or any of his business associates, and that no such fund exists. He says legal action is currently underway.

Here’s an Internet challenge: Defend your favorite villain.  Here are a few examples: Tom from “Tom & Jerry”: “That’s his job. He’s a cat and there’s literally a rodent in the house.” The Trix Rabbit: “All he wanted was a bowl of cereal and those kids never offered him some, so he turned to a…
