Country Stars React to President Elect Donald Trump

Yesterday (Nov. 8) Americans invoked their privilege of the right to vote for the President of the United States.

In the wee hours of the morning (Nov. 9), it was declared that Donald J. Trump would be the next President of the United States. As you can imagine, that did not sit well with 50 percent of the country. There were mixed reviews—some happy, some sad and some just plain devastated.

Country stars were no different. In the age of social media, some of your favorite stars took to their accounts to express their opinion on both sides of the aisle.

No matter which side you stand on, the results are in and the electoral college has spoken. We must now all take a breath and find it in ourselves to get along while treating people with respect and kindness—that’s not on the President to tell us to do that, that’s on us.

Now, check out how some of our country stars took the news.

MR Trump if you’re Nasty!
